Interdicsiplinary workshops includes a variety of musical activities and games, among them are playing various instruments, singing and song writing, conducting, building musical instruments, improvisation and more, in combination with other artistic disciplines and practices such as movement, dance, theater, text and visual arts.
Major part of the activities are based on Moving-Experience-Sound, a method which I've researched and developed, about the experience of sound and music from a physical understanding (the method is based on a research of Laban Movement Anlysis and music).
An example for an activity can be starting with a physical and musical warm-up, followed by a gathering of the 'orchestra' for common music making by singing, playing, conducting, improvising and live/instant-composing. It is and are structured with the following: activities listening, active participance, creation, experience, learning and performance.
The concept and topic of a workshop can be designed together with you and it is always designed to answer the needs and wishes of the group.
Already prepared workshops are: Graphic scores, Carnaval di Venezia, Site-specific music and art, Text compositions

Violin & Viola lessons
Violin & Viola lessons are for anyone who wishes to start playing these instruments, continue or rusume studying.
I combine various practices which I believe create a greater whole. I teach basic to advance techniques of Violin and Viola playing according to methods of the western-classical schools.
In my view, Viola (and Violin) is more than a musical instrument.
It is a tool for expression; a mean for speaking the language of sound and music. It can make music, sound, can play alone, with others, it can do anything.
Playing an instrument is (also) about expanding ways of communication. It unfolds different possibilities for expression and a opend new paths of creativity.
My way of teaching is personal and about listening to the student wishes, abilities, interests and ideas.
Next to the western-classical technique, I use a movemental-physical approach as well as improvisation and composition, corresponding with the student's personal chrachtaristics and artistic and creative motivations.
The reprtoire and musical styles correspond as well with the student's musical taste, and ranges from classical-western repertoire, to new-contemporary music, improvisatory ideas and compositions, world and folk music, pop, rock and more.
If you're intrigued, I'd be happy to play, teach and exchange ideas with you.

Composition lessons
Composition lessons are for anyone who wishes to compose music, for any instrument, emsemble and/or electronics music, in any setting.
My teaching method combines various approaches and styles, supporting the practice with theoretical knowledge and most important developing creativity and helping the student in making their imagionary visions into reality.
For each student a different palate of tools is offered, according to the student's musical wishes and ambitions.
I teach the basis of western-music composition - theory, harmony, counterpoint, score-reading, solfege, rhythm, analysis and more. Further I suggest broad overview of world, jazz, pop, new/contemporary music, various styles in electronic music (popular and experimental), improvisatory compositions, graphic notation, text and game pieces, music for theater, film and dance and interdicsiplinary works which combine music with other art fields.
